From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia operates daily flights to Kota Bharu Airport in the state of Kelantan and Kuala Terengganu Airport.
The flight time is about 45 minutes.

Once you have arrived at KLIA and you prefer other modes of transportation to Perhentian Island, head to Kuala Lumpur. From there, you will be spoilt with various choices - travel by coach, train or taxi.

Rent a car at the airport and head towards Kuala Lumpur. The road system in Malaysia is excellent and driving to the East Coast is an enjoyable and scenic experience.
Traveling time from KLIA to Kuala Besut in Terengganu is approximately 8 hours.

Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia operates daily flights From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kota Bharu Airport (recommended as it is nearer to Kuala Besut Jetty).
Traveling time is about 28 minutes by ERL from Kuala Lumpur Central Station to KLIA and the flight is about another 45 minutes to Kota Bharu
Airport.

  At Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station get on the comfortable Express Wau overnight train and ask for Wakaf Bharu Train Station. From the train station, take an hour taxi ride to our Kuala Besut Jetty Office.
The ride, Express Wau, runs everyday at 7:55pm from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station(locally known as KL Sentral).
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTM), or Malayan Railways, connects to both Singapore and Bangkok.

Traveling time is about 12 hours. Taxi ride from Wakaf Bharu to Kuala Besut Jetty Office will take about 45 minutes.
